From the Customers administration menu, selecting "View Customer PDA Data"
will load the following screen, allowing dealerships to view a customers
saved vehicles.
The PDA code for this customer is the same one that was assigned when
the customer was created. For demonstration purposes, we saved the data
on all four vehicles, just to compare how different incentives can influence
the bottom line deal.
Once we enter the PDA ID # and click "Get Info", a summary screen loads
all the relevant data that was used to estimate payment ranges for Bob
Jones. In reality, of course, only one vehicle would typically be saved.
These examples also exaggerate a normal residual value, as well as the
low APR financing probably available to an A credit customer. Still it
shows how varying incentives can strongly influence which vehicle can
be a customer's best buy in his own particular scenario.
The Low Monthly Payment represents the payment estimate before rounding
up and ranging. Final figures are presented in writing at a closing desk,
as is traditional, by either a member of the sales or sales management
team. The customer has now come into your dealership, gone through a candid
prequalification process, browsed the lot, picked out a car or truck in
his budget, and he's sitting at a closing booth ready to complete the
sale.
